Goats brought to new waterfront park, put to work

Washougal — The Port of Camas-Washougal has had some hungry visitors in recent days. Starting on Oct. 18, a herd of goats were brought to port property help deal with invasive species. The goats were brought in for about a week to week and a half, and let loose on the inlet of the new Washougal Waterfront Park and Trail, just a block east of the port’s visitor center, 24 S. A St. The goats came from Yoder Goat Rentals.
