Thomas Dreyer, Evan Honore and Jeffrey Mayolo each had big touchdown plays for La Center as the Wildcats clinched the Trico League championship in White Salmon.
Dreyer had a 92-yard touchdown run in the second quarter. Honore followed with an 85-yard TD pass play from Jeremy Scott and Mayolo capped La Center’s scoring with an 83-yard touchdown run in the third quarter.
La Center took control with four touchdowns in the second quarter. Mayolo finished with 165 yards rushing.
La Center will take the Trico’s No. 1 seed into the district playoffs on Nov. 4, when the Wildcats will face the No. 3 team from the 1A Evergreen Conference.
