Ridgefield – The Ridgefield National Wildlife Refuge River ‘S’ Unit will be temporarily closed Monday, Oct. 24, and Wednesday, Oct. 26, but will be open on Tuesday, Oct. 25.
Crews will be out pruning branches and leaning along the driving route for recreational vehicles.
During the closures, the Carty Unit at 28908 N.W. Main Ave., Ridgefield will remain open for hiking, wildlife observations and photography.
