A suspect wanted in connection with a fatal shooting last month at a home in Southeast Portland was arrested Thursday in Vancouver, according to a press release from the Vancouver Police Department.

Police arrested Felauai Satele, 38, after contacting him during a call for a prowler and learned he had a warrant for murder, the press release said.

Satele is accused of fatally shooting 45-year-old Michael Scott Hoven on Sept. 23 at a home in the 1700 block of Southeast 162nd Avenue in Portland, according to police.

Satele was taken to the Clark County Jail, where he awaits extradition to Oregon.
