Vancouver – Mental health and chemical dependency service provider Lifeline Connections gave its annual awards to Armando Herrera and Olivia Resnick.
Herrera received the John Cox Award of Excellence for his advocacy and dedication to making sure behavioral health treatment is accessible to everyone. He served on several local committees and was a Lifeline Connections board member.
Resnick, who is the housing solutions director at the Council for the Homeless, got the Community Partner Award for showing “passion towards helping individuals in our community find safe and affordable housing,” Lifeline said in a news release. She sits in Lifeline’s Sobering Unit Advisory Board and helps people who use sobering services get into affordable housing.
