Three people were taken to area hospitals late Saturday after a car crashed in a field near Battle Ground, according to Clark County Sheriff’s deputies.

Deputies were dispatched at 11:44 p.m. to Northeast 244th Street and Northeast 112th Avenue, where they found an automobile in a field with significant front end damage, according to a news release.

The driver, a male adult, was found unconscious and unresponsive in the wreckage. Two passengers, ages 7 and 10, were injured, but had climbed out of the vehicle on their own, deputies said. All three were taken to hospitals.

No names have been released and their medical conditions were not available early Sunday. The sheriff’s traffic unit is investigating.
