The Nike Community Fund announced $300,000 in grants to 30 local nonprofits and schools, two of which are in Clark County.

King’s Way Christian School received a grant to create a “multi-activity environment for students and the community.”

The Northwest Association for Blind Athletes received a grant to support the purchase of adaptive sporting equipment for blind or visually-impaired people to participate in sports.

The Nike Community Fund does not specify how much each organization receives, but grants are between $5,000 and $20,000, according to a news release.

Applications for the next round of grants are due Dec. 1. Clark County organizations are encouraged to apply. The one-year grants primarily support projects related to sports or physical activity.
