Clark Public Utilities seeks volunteer tree planters

Volunteers of all ages are invited to plant trees Clark Public Utilities’ StreamTeam for a local Make a Difference Day celebration.

The event will be Oct. 22 in Battle Ground. Check-in is at 8:30 a.m. for 9 a.m. planting. At noon, there will be lunch and awards presented. Pre-registration is required, and then the exact location of the planting will be given. Participation is free.

Planting will be held rain or shine, so workers should dress for the weather. Volunteers will be trained and given tools and trees.
