Hockinson jumped out to an early lead and never looked back in a victory over Washougal.

After forcing and recovering a fumble, Canon Racanelli found his brother, Sawyer, for the first score of the game. Two plays later, Sawyer Racanelli intercepted a pass and returned it 27 yards for another touchdown.

Racanelli would eventually add two more passing touchdowns and another on the ground — all in the first half. Sawyer also added one more interception.

On the final play of the first half, Washougal quarterback Ryan Stevens ran seven yards for the Panthers first score, yet the team still faced a 40-6 deficit.

Matt Henry ran the second-half opening kickoff 84 yards for a Hawk touchdown.

Through the first three quarters, the Hockinson defense held Washougal to -2 yards rushing, forced four interceptions and recovered one fumble. The offense turned each turnover recovery into a touchdown.

Canon Racanelli completed 14 of 26 passes for 205 yards and did not play in the second half.
