Vancouver Public Schools Superintendent Steve Webb attended the White House Symposium on the Future of Education Research and Development and Digital Learning on Wednesday.
The symposium, hosted by the White House Office of Science and Technology Policy, is part of the Obama administration’s efforts to support digital learning and advance the role of research and development to improve education, according to a news release.
Webb was named a Future Ready Leader by the U.S. Department of Education in 2015, and was one of eight public school leaders in the nation selected by eSchool News as a tech-savvy superintendent in 2014.
