Southwest Washington – Janus Youth Programs in Washington was awarded a federal grant to support its programs serving homeless and runaway youth. The nonprofit will get $200,000 annually for three years for its Oaks Basic Center Program. The program includes three services:

• The Oak Bridge Shelter provides emergency shelter and 24-hour crisis intervention with the goal of reuniting youth with their families or otherwise transitioning them into a more stable living arrangement.

• Oak Grove is also an emergency shelter serving youth who have higher needs.

• Yellow Brick Road is a street outreach program that gets youth connected to local resources.

Since 1972, Janus Youth Programs has helped adolescents and their families in Oregon and Washington.
