Vancouver and the Clark County Parks Department will host a series of volunteer opportunities for teens throughout the school year.

The #VancouverVolunTEEN program offers teens ages 14 to 19 opportunities to help with a variety of volunteer projects, including window washing and trash cleanup at local parks.

Volunteer events are most Thursdays until May, except in December and January, according to a news release. The events are held from 3:30 to 5:30 p.m.

For a list of upcoming events and their locations, and to RSVP, visit cityofvancouver.us/VolunTEEN. Volunteers can also show up on the day of the event.

Teens younger than 18 must bring a completed minor consent form, which is available online, to their first event.
