Girls basketball: Washougal 64, Evergreen 59

Beyonce Bea scored 25 points and Mason Oberg added 20 as Washougal opened its season with a win.

Bea, a sophomore, added eight rebounds the three steals. Oberg, a point guard, also had five rebounds and six assists.

Washougal trailed 34-29 at halftime, but outscored the Plainsmen 15-9 in the third quarter.

For Evergreen, Ahna Burney scored 14 points, while Felicia Bahr and Makenzie Smith each added 10 points.
