Boys basketball: Ridgefield 46, Adna 45, OT

Louden Wardius hit the game-winning basket at the buzzer in overtime to give coach Jason Buffum a win in his Ridgefield debut.

Trailing 45-44 with three seconds left, Ridgefield inbounded from the sideline. Wardius went around a screen by Kellen Bringhurst and received the inbounds pass underneath the hoop.

Wardius contorted his body and made the shot at the buzzer, giving him a team-high 16 points. The Spudders collected 17 offensive rebounds.

The was the first game at Ridgefield for Buffum, who coached the previous three seasons at Woodland and led the Beavers to the state tournament last year.
