Clark volleyball season ends

Penguins eliminated at NWAC Tournament by No. 1 Linn-Benton

The Clark College volleyball team came across two familiar foes Saturday at the NWAC Championship in Tacoma.

Playing in the loser-out bracket, the Penguins beat Umpqua for the third time this season, but was then eliminated by top-ranked Linn-Benton, a team that beat Clark twice in NWAC South region play this season.

Clark (30-11) beat Umpqua 25-20, 25-23.

Livia Strandberg had 10 kills, Courtney Misner had 13 digs, and Gauleighyan Eastman had 16 assists.

Clark fell to Linn-Benton for the third time this season, losing 25-21, 25-21.

Strandberg had 12 kills, Misner 16 digs, Olivia Jacoshenk 13 assists, and Eastman 12 assists.
