Police officers arrested a Vancouver man Thursday, and for the second time this month, and say so far they have seized more than 3 pounds of methamphetamine along with heroin, multiple firearms and cash from his residence, which sits near a school bus stop.
Vancouver police officers and Clark County deputies, in SWAT gear, served a search warrant at Brian Burke’s home at 11921 N.E. 37th St. in the Image neighborhood, as part of a methamphetamine dealing case, according to the Vancouver Police Department.
There, officers found about 2 pounds of methamphetamine in his room. Burke, 44, was booked for possession of methamphetamine with intent to sell and possession of a controlled substance.
When officers searched his home Nov. 2, they found seven firearms — including one that was reported as stolen, about 1.5 pounds of methamphetamine, more than an ounce of heroin, scales and about $9,000 in cash.
Burke was booked on suspicion of 12 felonies, and later posted in that arrest, according to the police department.
