Vancouver police are asking for the public’s help finding a suspect in an identity theft case and a suspect in a mail theft and fraud case.

• A person reported on Oct. 4 that someone had used their newly issued ATM card at various banks and stores around Clark County, according to the Vancouver Police Department.

Police were able to collect surveillance photos taken during one of the transactions. Anyone with information about the identity of the suspect is asked to contact police service technician Donna Batt at donna.batt@cityofvancouver.us.

• The next day, police took a report of mail theft and subsequent fraud that involved checks that were altered and cashed.

Surveillance photos captured an image of the suspect in that case, and anyone who recognizes the person in the photo is asked to contact police service technician Julie Cleveland at julie.cleveland@cityofvancouver.us.
