Vancouver – The Vancouver-based National Women’s Coalition Against Violence & Exploitation was named a 2016 Top-Rated Nonprofit by GreatNonprofits, a website that rates and reviews nonprofits.
The women’s coalition is an all-volunteer-based nonprofit best known for its national conferences and trainings, missing children’s division and program providing bras to women and girls.
“We are honored to be named a 2016 Top-Rated Nonprofit for the second time,” said Michelle Bart, president and co-founder, in a news release. “We are proud of our accomplishments this year, including finding and rescuing five teenage girls, hosting a successful Southwest Conference Against Trafficking with our partners at San Bernardino County, and collecting and distributing over 12,000 bras to women and girls who need them.”
