Vancouver – As part of National Hunger and Homelessness Awareness Week happening next week, Share will host its fifth annual brown-bag lecture from 11:30 a.m. to 1 p.m. Tuesday.

The talk is at the Share Fromhold Service Center, 2306 N.E. Andresen Road, and is free to the public. Speakers David Bilby, founder of Go Connect, and Scott Conger, housing director with Janus Youth Programs, will talk about teen homelessness.

“There are more than 2,300 homeless students in Clark County and that population continues to grow each year,” said Amy Reynolds, deputy director of Share. “Our youth will build tomorrow’s future, but many of them face a number of barriers in reaching their dreams. Share is honored to partner with agencies like Go Connect and Janus Youth Programs who are working each day to solve the issues facing homeless teens and their families.”
