Kindergartners learn about fire safety

Battle Ground — Two Tukes Valley Primary School kindergarten classes learned a bit about safety recently when three firefighters from Clark County Fire District 3 visited their class. During the Oct. 24 visit, Meadowlark Clark’s class and Jaime Ritter’s class learned some fire safety lessons and what to do if they see flames or smell smoke. The firefighters also showed off some of their gear and handed out red plastic helmets.
