Walnut Grove — Furry Friends received a total of $21,825 from two main sponsors of the nonprofit cat shelter’s building fund. The nonprofit was the recipient of two checks recently: a $10,000 donation presented by Glen Aronson of Iron Gate Storage and a $11,825 grant from Dr. Virginia Huang of Salmon Creek Plastic Surgery. The money will go toward remodeling projects at the newly purchased cat shelter, including a new roof and upgraded electrical and plumbing.
