The Vancouver Police Department is trying to identify two thieves in skeleton makeup who loaded up a grocery cart and left a Safeway store Sunday without paying.

The pair, a male and female, entered the store — at 3707 Main St. — filled a cart then tried to leave without paying.

When a store employee confronted them, the male pulled a knife and waved it around.

The two fled on foot but were captured in surveillance footage.

The department asked anyone who might know either suspect to contact Officer Katie Endresen at kathryn.endresen@cityofvancouver.us
