A Vancouver woman was injured Saturday in a single-vehicle rollover accident on Interstate 5 in Salmon Creek, according to the Washington State Patrol.

A WSP bulletin said the crash occurred at 10:13 a.m. when Kristen R. Bolen, 40, attempted to take the Northeast 139th Street exit off I-5. Her 2005 BMW X5 sport utility vehicle struck a guard rail between the exit and the freeway, overturned onto an embankment and came to rest on its top.

Drugs or alcohol were involved in the crash, according to the WSP.

Bolen, who was wearing safety restraint, was transported to PeaceHealth Southwest Medical Center in Vancouver and reported in satisfactory condition Saturday afternoon.

The crash remains under investigation, according the WSP bulletin. It said charges were pending.
