The Vancouver Police Department is investigating the discovery of what appears to be skeletal human remains in a field in east Vancouver, police reported Saturday.
Police were called at 1:08 p.m. Saturday to the field near 5700 block of Northeast 152nd Avenue after someone picking berries in the area discovered the remains and called 911, according to a police bulletin.
The Vancouver Police Department Major Crimes Unit is investigating and is awaiting further information based on examination of the remains by the Clark County Medical Examiner’s Office, the bulletin said.
