The Clark County Sheriff’s Office said it’s looking for an older man reportedly seen following a student to Heritage High School on Thursday morning.

The sheriff’s office said a female student driving to school noticed a white Chevrolet Suburban — driven by a white, heavy-set man in his 60s — following her.

After parking in the student lot she caught up with some other students walking to school.

The sheriff’s office said she saw the Suburban park near her car, and surveillance video shows the man was parked there for about 20 minutes. He also got out and walked around the lot some before getting back in the Chevy and driving away, according to the sheriff’s office.

The man committed no crime, but the sheriff’s office said the school resource deputy at the school would still like to talk with him.

Anyone with information about what happened was asked to call Deputy Tyler Trenda at 360-397-6008, ext. 5393, and reference case No. 2016-5448.
