Camas — Camas’ National Honor Society members inducted 55 new sophomores and juniors at a ceremony on April 28. The inductees were selected by current members after submitting a cover letter, resume and application. The current officers deliberated over each application to pick the new members, taking about three weeks to make their selections. At the ceremony, each new inductee received a certificate and participated in the candle lighting, which is used to honor the society’s core values of scholarship, character, service and leadership.
