Vancouver police locate missing 7-year-old boy

UPDATE 11 p.m.: The boy arrived home safely at about 10:55 p.m., according to emergency radio traffic monitored at The Columbian.

The Vancouver Police Department is seeking the public’s assistance as they search for a 7-year-old boy who went missing Friday night.

Vincent Meadors was supposed to return home at 7 p.m. but did not arrive, according to a VPD bulletin. He was last seen in an apartment complex in the 8700 block of East Mill Plain Boulevard.

Vincent is about 4 feet 3 inches tall and about 50 pounds. He was last seen wearing a blue shirt, blue shorts and with blue colored shoes that light up. He has dyed red hair.

Anyone with information about Vincent’s location are strongly encouraged to call 911, the bulletin said.
