Lifeline Connections won a $5,000 American Psychiatric Association Foundation Award for Advancing Minority Mental Health, which recognizes efforts to serve minority communities.

The Vancouver-based drug rehabilitation and mental health provider has one of the few deaf and hard-of-hearing programs in the nation that provides drug and alcohol addiction treatment in American Sign Language.
