Salmon Creek — Young artists of tomorrow got to put their talent on display when The Goddard School auctioned off their work as part of the Children’s Art Gala. This annual charity event raises money for Legacy Salmon Creek Medical Center’s Child Abuse Assessment Team, which provides non-acute pediatric evaluations for all forms of child abuse. “We are thrilled with the $6,105 we raised to benefit the Child Abuse Assessment Team,” said Michelle Solari, on-site owner of The Goddard School in Salmon Creek. “Our teachers did a wonderful job working with the students to create the art. And we owe a big thank you to our Goddard parents and others in our community for their amazing support and financial contributions.” All of the proceeds will go toward aiding the team in its efforts.
