A group of Clark County residents are hosting a May 16 fundraiser to benefit Syrian refugees, which includes a show by artists who are a part of Yo-Yo Ma’s Silk Road Ensemble.

The 60-minute audio-visual performance, “Home Within,” features Syrian composer and clarinetist Kinan Azmeh and Syrian-Armenian visual artist Kevork Mourad.

The door opens at 6 p.m., with the show starting at 7 p.m., at the Aladdin Theater, 3017 S.E. Milwaukie Ave. in Portland.

Proceeds will go to the NW Pacific Chapter of the Syrian American Medical Society. For more information, email Hazar Jaber, eid7faris@gmail.com.
