This fall, resident undergraduate tuition at Washington State University campuses, including WSU Vancouver, will decrease by 10 percent. The WSU Board of Regents approved the legislatively authorized reductions Friday.
In 2016-2017, resident undergraduate tuition will be $9,324 per year. It currently is $10,356. Last fall, resident undergraduate tuition decreased by 5 percent.
Tuition had climbed rapidly during the recession as the state dealt with a budget deficit.
In other action, the regents added three degree programs at WSU Vancouver: bachelor of science in data analytics, bachelor of science in mathematics and masters in electrical engineering.
