Candidates for elective office can declare from May 16 to 20.
Candidates can file in person from 8 a.m. to 5 p.m. daily at the Clark County Elections office, 1408 Franklin St. Filing fees can be paid in cash or check.
To apply online, visit clarkvotes.org from 9 a.m. Monday through 4 p.m. Friday. Applicants must have a valid email address and be registered to vote in the jurisdiction in which they are applying.
The offices open for candidate filings include U.S. senator; U.S. representative, 3rd Congressional District; all state offices; senator and representative positions for the 14th, 17th, 18th, 20th and 49th Legislative Districts; three Supreme Court justice positions; a Court of Appeals justice position, all 10 Superior Court judge positions; County Council Districts No. 3 and No. 4; Clark Public Utilities District commissioner, District 2; and 252 Republican precinct committee officers and 252 Democratic precinct committee officers.
