ARIEL — Speelyai Bay Park on Merwin Reservoir will remain closed to the public through May 13 while the main water line into the park is replaced to repair a leak discovered during the winter.
Speelyai Bay Park closed on Monday and was expected to reopen today. Cresap Bay Park at the upper end of Merwin Reservoir has been open and offers an alternative boat ramp.
All other amenities at Cresap Bay will remain closed until Memorial Day weekend, when the park opens for the season, according to PacifiCorp, the utility that owns the parks.
