VANCOUVER — The Clark County Historical Museum will waive admission fees on Wednesday, May 18, in honor of International Museum Day.
The annual observance started in 1977 to raise awareness on the importance of museums in the development of society. In recent years, almost 30,000 museums in more than 120 countries have participated.
The Clark County Historical Museum, 1511 Main St., is open from 11 a.m. to 4 p.m., Tuesday through Saturday. Standard entry fees: $4 adults; $3 seniors; $2 for under 18; free for Historical Society members.
