UPDATE: The Clark County Sheriff’s Office reported that Alfonso Morales returned home on his own at 8:30 p.m. and is good condition.

The Clark County Sheriff’s Office is asking the public to keep an eye out for a missing man with dementia.

Alfonso Morales, 71, walked away from a care facility at 17702 N.E. 31st St. this morning and hasn’t yet been located, the agency said.

Morales is described as 5 feet 2 inches tall, 140 pounds. He has dark graying hair, wears glasses and speaks broken English, deputies said.

He may be wearing dark jeans and a jacket and is possibly carrying a garbage bag with his belongings inside, according to the sheriff’s office. Care givers said that Morales becomes easily confused and agitated, the sheriff’s office said.

If anyone spots Morales, they are asked to call 911.
