Sidewalks on the Interstate 5 Bridge will see separate, one-day closures this week for electrical work, according to the Oregon Department of Transportation.
The northbound span’s sidewalk is closed from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m. Tuesday. All bike and foot traffic will be moved to the southbound span’s sidewalk.
From 9 a.m. to 4 p.m. Thursday, the sidewalk on the southbound side will close from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m. Bicyclists and pedestrians will be pushed to the northbound span.
The bridge is jointly owned by Washington and Oregon and maintained by ODOT.
