Bagley Downs — ReTails Thrift Shop received a unique donation this month when someone dropped off a Hammond B3 organ and a Leslie 145 speaker. Traditionally an instrument found in churches, the Hammond B3, along with the Leslie 145, was made popular by such musicians as the Allman Brothers, Grateful Dead, Pink Floyd and Bob Dylan. Both the organ and speaker are currently on display and may be viewed by the public. The set is also available for purchase for $4,999 and includes the organ, speakers, cords and bench. ReTails Thrift Shop is operated by the Humane Society for Southwest Washington, and all proceeds from the store benefit the organization.
