PeaceHealth Southwest Medical Center is holding an open house at its newly expanded Hope Bereavement Center.

The open house is 4 to 6 p.m. today at the center, 5400 MacArthur Blvd., Vancouver. The official blessing of the newly renovated space will be at 4:30 p.m., followed by appetizers and music.

The renovation doubled the size of the bereavement center, allowing for the addition of several services.

Hope Bereavement offers services to families and individuals, including individual counseling for those who experienced a loss of a pregnancy or death of a newborn, support groups for people of all ages who are dealing with the loss of a loved one, a survivors of suicide support group, an animal grief support group, counseling for those who have a loved one with a terminal illness, and family counseling after the loss of a loved one.
