LONG BEACH — Nineteen days of razor clam digging in April on the Long Beach Peninsula have been adopted tentatively by the Washington Department of Fish and Wildlife.
Final confirmation will come about a week before the scheduled digging, depending on the results of marine toxin tests.
The dates are April 3 through 12 and April 20 through 28.
Long Beach currently is open to digging daily through March 31.
Razor clam diggers will need a new annual license beginning April 1.
An annual license costs $14.10 and is valid April 1 through March 31. A three-day razor clam license costs $9.70. An annual combination fishing and shellfish licenses costs $55.35.
