There are many Easter egg events taking place next weekend. The annual Easter egg hunt in Crown Park will be one of the few on Easter. It features more than 10,000 eggs filling the designated hunting areas for different age groups. Children should bring their own basket to collect eggs. There will also be the traditional Easter Bonnet and Contemporary Hat contests following the egg hunt. The hunt begins at 1:30 p.m. March 27 at Crown Park, Northeast 15th and Everett streets, Camas. Alpaca owners, breeders and enthusiasts will gather for Alpacapalooza, a regional show that celebrates raising alpacas and alpaca fiber. The animals will participate in shows and contests, with vendors on hand selling alpaca fiber products.
