Drivers on Northwest Lower River Road, state Highway 501, north of Frenchman’s Bar in Vancouver will encounter delays next week.
Starting Monday, maintenance workers from the Washington Department of Transportation will alternate traffic through a single during slope stabilization work along the highway.
On Tuesday, full lanes of Lower River Road will be closed from 8 a.m. to 4:30 p.m., causing delays of up to an hour at a time.
The project is expected to be complete by 4:30 p.m. Friday.
