A man went to the hospital after rolling his car multiple times when, according to sheriff’s deputies, he attempted to pass another vehicle in the Fargher Lake area Friday morning.

Clark County Sheriff’s Office Sgt. Fred Neiman said the driver of a 2009 Dodge Challenger was heading south on Northeast 156th Avenue when he attempted to pass another vehicle around 6:30 a.m.

The man lost control and went off the east side of the road, rolling multiple times into a blueberry field, Neiman said.

Witnesses told deputies the driver appeared to be going at a high speed, Neiman said.

The man was taken to PeaceHealth Southwest Medical Center for his injuries. Neiman said no one else was in the car, and no other vehicles were involved.

The driver’s name was not available, and Neiman said it was too early to say whether any citations would be issued.
