Paramedics took a Vancouver woman and an 11-month-old boy to the hospital after both were hurt in a rollover crash on Interstate 205 on Friday morning.

Debra R. Bogan, 25, was on the on-ramp to northbound I-205 from state Highway 14 around 11:11 a.m., according to the Washington State Patrol. She attempted to merge as another vehicle tried merging into the same lane. State patrol said Bogan overcorrected, sending her car off the right side of the road. Her Toyota Camry rolled and came to rest on its top.

Bogan and the boy were taken to PeaceHealth Southwest Medical Center. Both were listed as stable Friday afternoon, the hospital said. The boy was in a car seat.

The crash totaled Bogan’s car, the state patrol said. Both vehicles made unsafe lane changes, according to the state patrol, though no citations were issued.
