Richard Matthews, an eight-year volunteer with the McLoughlin House in Oregon City, Ore., will visit the Camas Police Station, 2100 N.E. Matthews will discuss McLoughlin’s role in the development of the Northwest and contributions he made to the life of early settlers. He also will bring along some artifacts, such as a Hudson’s Bay blanket and fur pelts.

The presentation is at 2 p.m. Saturday, April 2, and light refreshments will be served. The presentation is free. For more information, go to www.2rhm.com.
