Community members interested in learning more about the ecology of Vancouver Lake, and ways to assist in its preservation, are invited to an open house planned for late April.
The open house will be held 5 to 7 p.m. April 27 at the Water Resources Education Center, 4600 S.E. Columbia Way, Vancouver.
The public will have the opportunity to learn about the organizations and groups working with Vancouver Lake and how they can get involved.
People can drop in at any time, but a brief program will be shown at 5:30 p.m. Light refreshments will be provided for free.
