Two arrested in February gas station attack

Two other suspects remain at large

Police Wednesday arrested two in connection with a February assault and robbery outside a gas station convenience store.

Four people attacked and robbed a woman around 10:50 p.m. on Feb. 11 outside an AM-PM mini-mart and Arco gas station at 2829 E. Mill Plain Blvd., according to the Vancouver Police Department. She sustained multiple injuries and was taken to a hospital.

Officers arrested Michael Jamar Jones, 28, and a 17-year-old girl on suspicion of assault and robbery.

Police said investigators are still looking for two suspects in the assault.

One suspect is a white women in her early 20s with dark blond hair and a thin build. During the robbery, she wore a maroon top, black jacket, dark jeans and short, black combat-style boots. She also carried a gray duffel bag.

The second suspect is a white man in his 20s with short black hair and a small build. He wore a black hooded sweatshirt with a red heart shape and white lettering on it, lighter jeans and canvas sneakers.

All four left the area in a white 1990s Chevrolet pickup.

Vancouver police encourage anyone with information on the suspects still at large to contact Detective Neil Martin at 360-487-7423.
