Vancouver Public Schools sites to open to patrons for tour

Parents and community members can register for a free patron tour of Columbia River High School and Discovery Middle School from 8:30 a.m. to 1 p.m. March 25. Hosted by Vancouver Public Schools Superintendent Steve Webb, the tour begins and ends at the Bates Center for Educational Leadership, 2921 Falk Road. Transportation is provided between schools.

At Columbia River, visitors will observe the International Baccalaureate program, one-to-one technology use and an early childhood learning program led by students. At Discovery, visitors will see the Middle Years Programme, the Advancement Via Individual Determination college-readiness program and the school’s Family-Community Resource Center.
