Portland police are looking for a man with connections to Portland and Vancouver who is a suspect in a Friday burglary at a Hayden Island condominium.

After the burglary, a neighbor confronted the alleged burglar, Ryan Steven Hentz, 32, who fled in a Honda, police said.

Neighbors began talking, and a resident in North Portland found images of Hentz on a home surveillance system, taken two days earlier.

Hentz was described as white, 5 feet 8 inches tall and 160 pounds, with brown hair and green eyes.

Police said he may be driving a tan 2002 Honda Accord with front-end damage.

The Portland Police Bureau asked anyone who sees Hentz to call 911.

Anyone with non-emergency information about Hentz should contact Detective Mace Winter at 503-823-0758 or mace.winter@portlandoregon.gov.
