Clark College’s Mature Learning program will celebrate its 43rd anniversary with “Focus on History,” a symposium from 9 a.m. to noon March 24 in Foster Auditorium, 1933 Fort Vancouver Way. There is a $10 registration fee.
The event pays tribute to the program’s founder, Alfred Apsler. It features mini-lectures from three of the program’s history instructors, Joe Cavalli, Mark Gallagher and Donald Miller, and performances by Grammy-award winning guitarist Doug Smith and Clark County Poet Laureate Christopher Luna.
The Mature Learning program is part of the college’s Economic & Community Development division.
