Women’s Festival Pacific Northwest, a day of empowerment for women, is coming to the Artillery Barracks this weekend.

Lifetime Achievement Award recipient Patty DeDominic is the keynote speaker at the event, and six other professional women will share their stories. There will also be workshops, networking, a Native American blessing ceremony and female artisans selling their wares. The festival is 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. Saturday at the Artillery Barracks, 600 Hatheway Road, south of the O.O. Howard House.

Proceeds benefit YWCA Clark County, a nonprofit most known for empowering women and for its services related to domestic violence and sexual assault. Tickets are $49 for the day and $29 for students, which includes a continental breakfast, lunch and refreshments. To purchase tickets and learn more about the event, visit www.womensfestivalnw.org.
